How a Dependent Care FSA works

1

Elect an amount

During open enrollment, choose how much to set aside from your paycheck for dependent care — up to the 2026 IRS limit.

2

Pay for care

Use the funds for eligible care for a qualifying child under 13 or an incapacitated spouse or dependent.

3

Get reimbursed

Submit receipts to your plan administrator, or pay directly with an FSA debit card if your plan offers one.
